Credits & Usage
What's a credit?
1 credit = 1 AI-generated pipeline or edit. Each message in a multi-turn refinement uses 1 credit. Batch runs don't cost credits — only the initial pipeline creation does.
Do unused credits roll over?
No — credits reset daily on the Pro plan. The 25 free credits on Community are one-time and don't expire unless you bring your own API key, in which case there's no credit limit at all.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You'll be prompted to upgrade or add your own API key. Any pipelines you've already generated remain saved and runnable — you just can't generate new ones until credits renew or you upgrade.
Plans & Billing
What's the difference between bringing my own API key and Pro?
With your own key (available on Community), you're billed directly by your AI provider (e.g. Anthropic or OpenAI) at their rates. Pro bundles hosted inference into the subscription — no separate API account needed, and we handle rate limits and model updates for you.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. You'll keep Pro access through the end of your billing period with no further charges.
Privacy & Data
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your images, pipelines, and prompts are never used to train or fine-tune any AI model — by us or by our infrastructure providers.
Where are my images processed?
Pipeline generation runs in the cloud, but your images stay local unless you explicitly upload one for context. The generated macro or Python script is executed entirely inside ImageJ on your own machine.
